Jeff Freeman
The Army trained this Sweet Home, Oregon native to be an expert machinist, and then stationed him in Panama to perform aviation maintenance and toolmaking. Later he earned his BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Oregon State University. Jeff worked for Boeing, Oregon Metallurgical, and Fujitsu Computer. He joined Gerber in 1998. In 2000 he was promoted to Senior Mechanical Engineer and has been involved in new product design and development. As meticulous as they come, Jeff's design credits include the Freeman Fixed Blade, the LMF II, collaboration on the Gerber-Emerson Alliance, Field & Stream's "Best of the Best" Award, and two IWA International Knife Awards.
