During my service in the Army, I had a Gerber multi-tool issued to me by my
unit. Since that time I have wondered how I had survived in the service for so
long without one. It is the best multi-tool I have ever had.
From commanding an M1A1 tank, to infantry operations in Iraq this tool
has, in fact, saved my life.
I retired from service last July with 30 years of service and have
carried the tool into civilian life. I carry it every day and use it everyday.
In fact I have a service truck full of tools and 9 times out of 10 I pull this
tool out first to do the job at hand. And most of the time it is all I need.
