The nylon handle of this Gerber knife has a tan TPV overmold, a metal butt cap that is suitable for use as a hammer or glass punch, and lashing/lanyard holes for spear conversion option. There is complete separation between the tang and butt cap, so the knife absorbs the shocks from hammering and prevents the shocks of electricity The low-profile sheath facilitates movement, limits noise, works for parachuting, and attaches to a belt or Molle vest.
